Leilani's first experience in the snow. We had a LOT of it. She was not very happy about the cold on her face.
She was so mad at me for this snow angel. She complained to her daddy for the next half hour.
(technical difficulties video is supposed to be here)
Uncle Eric came for Christmas. While here we discovered her favorite song... Lalalalala Lalalalala lalalalalalalala Sing sing a song... She was snuggling with Uncle Eric, but when Grandpa started singing this she sat up in his arms very excited and started "singing" along.

Happy Holidays!!

Leilani's first Christmas picture... the diapers only came in size 3, so I put it on over her diaper. It came up to her belly button and down to her knees.

not a newborn anymore...

As you all know we had our Beautiful baby girl 2 months ago... it was an amazing experience. I feel so blessed to be a Mother. Its all I've wanted my whole life. Now I have a perfect little girl. She was born at 6 pounds 10 ounces 19 inches long (under the 10th percentile), at her 2 month check up she weighed in at 10 pounds 14 ounces (50th percentile) and 23 inches long (75th percentile). She has grown so much, just in the last 2 weeks, up until then she fit into Newborn clothes and the 0-3 month stuff seemed way to big, at the beginning of this week I started to put the newborn stuff away. Which was a little sad for me, But I am so grateful that she is healthy and growing. She is a great little sleeper, she started sleeping through the night around 5 1/2 weeks old, I know I am lucky but I still get exhausted.
She has got to celebrate two holidays so far, For Halloween we dressed her up as a little skeleton fairy, she had a pink onsie with skeleton bones and a little tutu I made for her newborn pictures and fairy wings from the dollar store. it turned out great!! she was super cute!! For Thanksgiving her Great Grandma and Grandpa Bott and Uncle Eric came out, so she got to meet them.
I am so excited to put her in a little dress and take her to church tomorrow. Dusty and I have been switching off weeks, so I have gone every other week to Sacrament meeting and Sunday School, then came home to feed the baby. I am so excited to go to all three hours of church. I have really missed it all. We haven't taken her to church yet because we were waiting for her to get her 2 month shots and have a little bit of a stronger immune system. Needless to say she got her shots... This little girl hardly ever cries, but when they put that needle in her little leg, I was ready to cry because her cry was breaking my heart.

                                                     Some pictures from the Hospital

she was so tiny...
She had little froggie legs for the first month and a half they were so cute!!
